Personal Projects

Boat

I’m fascinated by 3D printing, but assembling multiple parts can be tedious. I’d been wanting to build a boat for a while, so I designed this model with a hull that could be printed in a single piece. The result is a compact, 23 cm boat that actually works, though there’s plenty of room for improvements in a version 2.0!

Ball Launcher

For my bachelor’s thesis, I had to restore an old ball-launching machine. To test the machine’s control system via Raspberry Pi, I built a small-scale model, allowing for efficient testing and precise adjustments before applying them to the full-sized machine.

Floorlamp

When my floor lamp broke, I saw it as a chance to improve my welding skills and create a custom steampunk lamp. This unique piece not only adds character to my room but also features individually controllable colors for a personalized lighting experience.

Impossible screw

I wanted to create something puzzling, a piece that doesn’t immediately reveal how it works, so I chose to make an „impossible screw.“ Made from steel, this piece has already sparked curiosity and left many faces wondering just how it functions.

Loudspeaker

I designed and built a loudspeaker, crafting the casing from beautiful beech wood and soldering the electronics by hand. This speaker serves as both a functional audio device and an elegant decor piece, combining aesthetic appeal with high-quality sound.

Airplane

After building planes from styrofoam, I decided to take on the challenge of crafting one from balsa wood. Working with this material was a rewarding experience, though it required significant time and effort. While the plane is difficult to control, once it takes flight, it’s an incredibly fun and satisfying experience.
